The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced that the No. 2 pick in the 2013 draft, Luke Joeckel, will miss the remainder of the season with a fractured right ankle.

Joeckel, who was making his first career start at left tackle after starting the first four games of his NFL career at right tackle, was carted off the field in the first quarter of a 34-20 loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.

The Jaguars traded former first-round pick Eugene Monroe earlier in the week to make room for Joeckel to start at his natural left tackle spot. The deal, along with Joeckel's injury, leaves second-year Austin Pasztor and third-year Cameron Bradfield as the starting tackles for the 0-5 club.
