Thomas Jacobs and Johnny Dee scored 14 points apiece to lead San Diego to a 72-41 win over Florida A&M on Wednesday night.

San Diego (2-1) opened with a 12-0 burst fueled by Dee, who sank a pair of 3-pointers and two free throws, to take a lead that was never challenged. The Toreros carried a 45-17 lead into the intermission shooting 60 percent and continued to pull away in the second half.

Christopher Anderson added 10 points and six assists for San Diego, which out-rebounded the Rattlers 40-22. It was just the second meeting of the two programs, with San Diego taking a 78-52 win in the first game of the Wolfpack Classic at the University of Nevada in 1983.

Florida A&M (0-3) was led by Jermaine Ruttley and Quentin Bastian who had 11 points apiece. Jorge Rosa added 10 points for the Rattlers.
