Injured Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi gets rehab in New York, aims for Italian Cup final

Injured Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi is targeting a return in three months at the Italian Cup final against Napoli.

Rossi believes he'll play at the Stadio Olimpico for the showpiece event, which will take place on May 3 or 7, depending on Europa League commitments.

The American-born forward, who plays for Italy, injured his right knee again at the start of the year. Rossi is undergoing rehabilitation in New York, where the same specialists helped him recover from his previous more serious injuries.

The 26-year-old says he's "surrounded by the same people, in the same institutions, with the same physiotherapist. So it is like deja vu."
