TORONTO (AP) Infielder Darwin Barney has agreed to a $1.05 million, one-year contract with the Toronto Blue Jays.

The 30-year-old hit .304 with two homers in 15 games for Toronto after being acquired from the Dodgers on Sept. 13. He batted .277 with four homers and 31 RBIs in 96 games at Triple-A Oklahoma City and was 0 for 4 for Los Angeles, which traded him to Toronto on Sept. 13 for minor league catcher Jack Murphy.

Barney is a .246 hitter with 21 homers and 157 RBIs in six major league seasons. He won an NL Gold Glove at second base in 2012 with the Chicago Cubs.
