IndyCar has fined Andretti Autosport-HVM for infractions by rookie Carlos Munoz's pit road crew during the race at Barber Motorsports Park.

The series announced the $2,000 penalty on Friday stemming from the April 27 race in Alabama.

Personnel for Munoz's No. 34 car were cited for not wearing proper attire on pit road. The team also was fined for having more than six crew members over the wall.

Andretti-HVM can appeal the penalty. Munoz's race ended after 29 laps because of mechanical problems.
