The "Voice of the Indians" Tom Hamilton got mighty excited on Monday when first baseman Mike Napoli belted a two-run home run to help the surging squad notch their 50th win. (Watch and listen above).

Napoli blasted the homer in the seventh inning off the Tigers' Bruce Rondon to give Cleveland a 5-3 lead that held up as the game's final score.

With the win, Cleveland extended its AL Central lead to 6.5 games over Detroit. And speaking of the Indians beating the Tigers, this latest victory means that the Tribe remains a perfect (10-0) against the Tigers this season.

The Tigers get another shot to snap the streak on Tuesday night as Anibal Sanchez is scheduled to take the mound against Cleveland's Carlos Carrasco.
