An Illinois little league coach died during a game Wednesday night while his son looked on, Chicago's WBBM-TV reports.

Brian Jones, 43, suddenly got sick during the baseball game in Monee and collapsed.

"I asked him what's going on, and then he said, 'I'm going to pass out.' And he fell over on top of me," his wife Bobbie Jones told the station.

Son Ryan Jones was on the field at the time.

He later told the station what his father taught him.

"Don't wind up when you're throwing it to first base -- and just have fun," he told the station.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office said he died of cardiovascular disease. Bobbie says she didn't know her husband was sick.

Four of Brian's organs have been donated.
