PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) Ethan Telfair scored a season-high 24 points, Kyle Ingram scored the winning basket with 4 seconds left, and Idaho State rallied to beat Portland 66-65 on Tuesday night, ending a four-game skid.
Trailing by two at halftime, Idaho State's Gary Chivichyan tied it at 35 with a 3-pointer and later hit four consecutive 3s for a 64-61 lead with 2:42 left. Portland made four of its next of 6 free throws for a 65-64 lead. Telfair missed a jumper, but Ingram tipped in the go-ahead basket.
Portland made its way down court but turned it over near the 3-point arc and Idaho State ran out the clock.
Chivichyan scored 18 points with six 3-pointers - both season highs - and the Bengals (3-4) hit 11 of 28 from behind the 3-point arc.
Bryce Pressley scored 16 points and Gabe Taylor added 12 for Portland (4-6). The Pilots outrebounded the Bengals 42-36.
