Toulouse, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Zlatan Ibrahimovic fired home a hat trick on Sunday as Paris Saint-Germain eased to a 4-2 victory over Toulouse at the Stade Municipal de Toulouse.

PSG returned to domestic play on Sunday after a comfortable 4-0 rout of Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday hoping to carry their momentum over and they got off to a flying start when Ibrahimovic opened the scoring just past the half-hour mark.

Ben Yedder found an equalizer for Toulouse just before the intermission and the clubs went into the locker room on level terms.

But PSG seized control of the match in the second half as Ezequiel Lavezzi gave the visitors the lead in the 55th minute and Ibrahimovic scored his second of the day in the 68th for a two-goal margin.

Yedder answered again for Toulouse four minutes later to pull the hosts within one, but Ibrahimovic completed his hat trick in the 89th minute to seal the points.

The result sees the defending champions maintain a five-point cushion atop the Ligue 1 table over second-place Monaco, while Toulouse remains in 10th place on 33 points.

Also in Ligue 1 on Sunday, Paul-Georges Ntep de Madiba, Anders Konradsen and Ola Toivonen all found the back of the net as Rennes ran out 3-0 winners over Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire.

In Sunday's final Ligue 1 fixture, Lille moved into third place in the table after battling Lyon to a scoreless draw at the Grand Stade Lille Metropole.
