Paris, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted a penalty kick after 15 minutes on Saturday to lift Paris Saint-Germain to a 1-0 victory over Nice at the Parc des Princes.

The defending Ligue 1 champions have been rolling along for most of the season, as the club has yet to lose any match in any competition, including a comfortable 3-1 win over Dutch side Ajax in the Champions League earlier this week.

PSG dominated the game in the opening 45 minutes and Ibrahimovic opened the scoring by slotting home his sixth goal of the season from the spot.

Nice had the better of the play for the duration of the second half, but the defending champions' back line did enough to keep the visitors out and claim all three points.

The result pulls PSG within one out of Marseille for the top spot in the French top flight, while Nice remains in 11th place on 18 points from 15 matches played.

Also in Ligue 1 on Saturday, Hilton and Mathieu Duhamel swapped goals as Caen earned a point with a 1-1 draw against Montpellier, while Alharbi El Jadeyaoui and Benjamin Bourigeaud netted second-half goals to lift Lens to a 2-0 win over Metz.

Benjamin Moukandjo's 85th-minute goal proved to be the difference as Reims claimed a 2-1 result over Bastia, while Rennes earned a comfortable 2-0 victory against Monaco.

Saturday's final Ligue 1 fixture saw Raphael Guerreiro, Benjamin Jeannot and Jordan Ayew fire home to lift struggling Lorient to a much-needed 3-2 victory over Toulouse.
