Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 10th goal this season as PSG defeated last-place Nancy, 1-0, on Saturday at the Stade Marcel Picot to open a three-point lead in Ligue 1.

Ibrahimovic scored 16 minutes from time as the Swedish international continued to pay dividends after his $30 million transfer from AC Milan over the summer. He leads Ligue 1 in scoring in his first season in the country.

PSG remained undefeated with its sixth win against four draws, and sits three points clear of second-place Toulouse. Nancy lost for the seventh time in 10 matches, and has just five points this season.

Toulouse 3, Brest 1

Toulouse, France - Ben Yedder scored his seventh goal and Toulouse beat Brest, 3-1, on Saturday at the Stade Municipal de Toulouse to rise to second place in Ligue 1.

Yedder scored the opening goal in the 29th minute, Etienne Capoue added a goal before halftime and, after Benoit Lesoimier pulled a goal back for Brest with 15 minutes left, Adrien Regattin sealed the win in stoppage time.

Toulouse is unbeaten in five straight fixtures and is just three points behind first-place PSG. Brest lost for the third time during a four-match losing skid and sits in 15th place.

Montpellier 3, Nice 1

Montpellier, France - Souleymane Camara and John Utaka scored 11 minutes apart early in second half to spark Montpellier to a 3-1 win over Nice on Saturday in Ligue 1 at the Stade de la Mosson.

Camara scored in the 53rd and Utaka followed in the 64th to give Montpellier a two-goal cushion, and an own goal from Renato Civelli three minutes from time secured the victory despite the sending off of Garry Bocaly in extra time.

Dario Cvitanich converted a penalty in stoppage time for Nice, which has just one win this season and sits just four points off the foot of the table.

Defending champion Montpellier snapped a two-game losing streak and climbed to 12th place.

Lille 2, Valenciennes 1

Lille, France - Dimitri Payet scored the match-winner as Lille defeated 10-man Valenciennes, 2-1, on Saturday at Grand Stade Lille Metropole in Ligue 1.

Gaetan Bong had an own goal in the second minute to hand Lille the early lead, and Payet doubled the lead four minutes before halftime.

Anthony Le Tallec scored in the 70th minute for Valenciennes, which had Carlos Sanchez sent off just before the half-hour mark.

Lille won for the second time during a three-game unbeaten streak, and climbed to ninth in the table. Valenciennes had its three-game unbeaten streak snapped and sits sixth on 15 points, seven off the pace of first-place PSG.

Reims 1, Troyes 1

Reims, France - Fabien Camus scored in the second half as promoted Troyes tied promoted Reims, 1-1, on Saturday at the Stade Auguste Delaune II in Ligue 1.

Troyes began the season winless in its first eight games, but has four points from its last two matches to move one point clear of last place.

Aissa Mandi scored for Reims, which has 15 points from seven matches and is in seventh place.
