Huskers notch historic comeback

Rex Burkhead scored the game's final two ranked Cornhuskers 27 win over Ohio State.

Nebraska trailed by 21 early in the third quarter, but scored 28 unanswered points with a 30-yard catch from Burkhead tying the game and a 17- yard TD run from Burkhead giving the team the lead with 5:10 to play.

He finished the game with 117 yards on 26 carries along with five receptions for 59 yards for the Cornhuskers (5-1, 1-1 Big Ten), who completed their largest ever comeback victory in the contest.

Taylor Martinez was 16-for-22 for 185 yards with two scores and an interception and added 100 yards on 17 carries with a score for Nebraska, which rebounded from a 48-17 pounding against Wisconsin last week.

Braxton Miller was 5-for-8 with 95 yards and a score and added 91 yards on 10 carries before leaving the game in the third quarter with a possible leg injury for the Buckeyes (3-3, 0-2), who have dropped their past two games.
