Hungary's Fazekas reportedly out of Olympic squad

BUDAPEST, Hungary – Discus thrower Robert Fazekas, who was stripped of his gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics for a doping offense, has reportedly been left out of Hungary's squad for the London Games.

State news wire MTI reported Tuesday that Fazekas was removed when the Hungarian Olympic Committee cut its final squad from 159 to 158 athletes.

The Olympics start July 27.
