Jacob Huesman accounted for three touchdowns and Chattanooga forced three turnovers to beat Indiana State 34-14 in the second round of the FCS playoffs Saturday.

Chattanooga (10-3), playing in its first playoff since 1984, moves on to face top-seeded New Hampshire (11-1) in the quarterfinals next weekend.

Huesman threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Tommy Hudson with 2:00 remaining in the second to give the Mocs a 21-7 halftime lead. He also had a pair of touchdown runs in the first and third quarter.

Sema'je Kendall's interception on Mike Perish's second pass set up Keon Williams' 3-yard scoring run, giving the Mocs a 7-0 lead 1:00 into the game. Perish fumbled in the fourth, leading to Derrick Craine's 1-yard touchdown. Perish threw his second interception with 1:45 left.

Jordan Wallace scored on a 64-yard fumble recovery, and Perish threw a 75-yard touchdown strike to A.J. Johnson for Indiana State (8-6).
