Andrew Keister scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Holy Cross past Army 68-54 in Patriot League action on Wednesday night.

The Crusaders (3-13, 2-0) jumped out to a 22-7 lead with 14:22 left in the opening half after making 9 of their first 11 attempts from the field.

Holy Cross led by as many as 22, 39-17, in the first half as the Black Knights (9-8, 1-1) struggled to find a rhythm on the offensive end, going 10 for 29 from the field (34.5 percent).

Army failed to score for more than 6 minutes as an 11-point deficit with 9:18 left before halftime doubled with 3:16 remaining.

Jordan Stevens added 15 points and Eric Obeysekere grabbed 14 rebounds for the Crusaders.

Julian Simmons scored 24 points on five 3s to lead the Black Knights, who shot 8 of 31 from the floor in the second half (25.8 percent).
