Avry Holmes scored 25 points with four rebounds as San Francisco beat Loyola Marymount 65-61 on Saturday night.

Cole Dickerson added 14 points for the Dons (20-10, 13-5 West Coast Conference). Kruize Pinkins had 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Dons close out the regular season with five straight wins and are tied with Brigham Young for second in the WCC.

San Francisco led 35-27 at the break. In the second, Loyola Marymount closed to within three, 48-45, on an Evan Payne 3-pointer with 9:16 to play. In the final 13 seconds, C.J. Blackwell hit a 3-pointer to again bring the Lions to within three, 64-61. On the next possession, the Dons Gavin Hoffmann turned the ball over, giving Blackwell another 3-point shot to tie it up. He missed, ending Loyola Marymount's hopes for a win.

Blackwell, Payne and Anthony Ireland had 13 points apiece for the Lions (12-18, 4-14).
