Peter Holland scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period, Jonathan Bernier stopped 39 shots, and the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the St. Louis Blues 4-1 on Saturday night.

James van Riemsdyk, Nazem Kadri and Michael Grabner also scored to help Toronto beat St. Louis in regulation at home for the first time since 1998.

Vladimir Tarasenko got his 23rd goal of the season and Jake Allen finished with 29 saves for the Blues.

Holland's power-play goal at 3:15 of the third put the Blues ahead 2-1.

Tarasenko got the Blues on the scoreboard first at 8:28 of the second on a one-timer of a cross-ice pass from David Backes

That lead only lasted 5 seconds, with van Riemsdyk tying the score on a low shot that fooled Allen.
