Heerenveen secured its fifth straight Eredivisie win in dramatic fashion on Saturday, receiving late goals in a 2-0 defeat of Feyenoord at Abe Lenstra Stadion.

The match was scoreless until the 85th minute when Alfred Finnbogason notched his 22nd league goal of the campaign.

Yassine El Ghanassy put the victory beyond any doubt, doubling Heerenveen's advantage in the 89th minute.

The win sees Heerenveen improve to 38 points on the season, good enough to leave the club in seventh place in Holland's top flight.

Feyenoord remains third in the table on 56 points.

Also on Saturday, Groningen overturned a one-goal deficit to take a 2-1 win over Willem II, Utrecht scored twice inside the opening 16 minutes for its 2-1 victory over Venlo and Kenny van der Weg and Wout Brama exchanged second-half goals in NAC's 1-1 draw with Twente.
