Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap will remain sidelined until at least the weekend as he continues to recover from a right knee contusion.
The team announced Monday that Millsap will not play in Tuesday's home game against Chicago or its road test against Boston on Wednesday.
Millsap, who ranks second among Hawks players in scoring (17.6 ppg) and rebounding (8.3 rpg), also sat out Saturday's matchup with the New York Knicks. In his absence, DeMarre Carroll scored a career-high 24 points while drawing the start at power forward, while Mike Scott delivered a personal-best 30 on 11-of-14 shooting in extended action.
The Hawks will travel to Phoenix to face the Suns on Sunday after taking on the Celtics, with the Boston clash opening a six-game road swing.
