BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Blake Hamilton scored a career-high 24 points, including seven in a late game-changing 16-0 surge that fueled a game-ending 27-6 run and Buffalo defeated Bowling Green 88-74 on Saturday.

Lamonte Bearden added 16 points, CJ Massinburg 15 and Willie Conner 14 for the Bulls (15-12, 8-6 Mid-American), who snapped a three-game losing streak. Hamilton also had seven rebounds and four steals.

Spencer Parker had 21 points, Zack Denny 15 and Wes Alcegaire 13 for the Falcons (13-14, 4-10), who lost their sixth straight.

Denny's jumper put Bowling Green up 67-61 with 8:45 to play but the Falcons had four turnovers and missed three shots and two free throws before Alcegaire's dunk with 3:23 to play. Then Hamilton, who scored five straight during the run and closed it with a pair of free throws for a 10-point lead, quickly answered and Bearden scored four straight to make it 83-69 with 1:53 remaining.
