Lille, France – Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye signed a year contract extension on Monday, the club announced.
Gueye, who was a member of Senegal's Olympic team, appeared in 10 Ligue 1 matches last season as he established himself in the team.
The 22-year-old has made five appearances this season for Lille in eight games and his new deal ties him to the club until 2015.
