Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Gonzaga starting shooting guard Gary Bell has been diagnosed with a broken hand and is out indefinitely, according to head coach Mark Few.

Bell was injured during the Bulldogs' 74-60 win over Santa Clara on Saturday.

The 11-2 Bulldogs rely heavily on Bell, a 6-foot-1 junior who is averaging 12.7 points per game on 50.9 percent from the floor. Bell has also been tasked with guarding opponents' top perimeter players this season.

Providence transfer Gerard Coleman is expected to move into the starting lineup in Bell's place.
