Gijon, Spain – Sporting Gijon named Inaki Tejada its manager 1 draw against Osasuna.
Gijon fired former coach Manuel Preciado last week, and Tejada stepped in on an interim basis. Gijon, which is 19th in La Liga, has now turned the squad over to Tejada for the rest of the season.
Sporting Gijon visits Valencia on Sunday.
