Marseille, France – The top of the Ligue 1 table remained unchanged on Sunday after Andre-Pierre Gignac and Zlatan Ibrahimovic exchanged tow-goal performances in a 2-2 draw between Marseille and PSG at the Stade Velodrome.
Gignac gave the home side the lead in the 17th minute, but it was quickly overturned by Ibrahimovic, who scored twice in as many minutes to put PSG in front with his league-leading eighth and ninth goals of the season.
But Marseille ensured that it would remain three points ahead of PSG as Gignac completed his brace in the 32nd minute.
Marseille stays top of France's top flight by improving to 19 points while PSG remains second on 16 points.
Brest 1, Bordeaux 1
Brest, France - Cheick Diabate preserved Bordeaux's undefeated start to the season by scoring in the 68th minute of the club's 1-1 draw at Brest on Sunday.
Eden Ben Basat had given Brest the lead eight minutes before halftime, but Basat equalized midway through the second period to lift Bordeaux to a fifth draw of the season.
Bordeaux sits in the top-half of the table on 14 points through eight games, four points ahead of Brest.
Lorient 1, Lyon 1
Lorient, France - Jeremie Aliadiere scored in the 47th minute to help Lorient maintain its unbeaten record in Ligue 1 with a 1-1 draw with Lyon on Sunday.
Bafetimbi Gomis opened the scoring for Lyon in the 23rd minute, but Aliadiere's strike two minutes after the break ensured a point for Lorient in the club's third straight draw.
Lyon has amassed 15 points through its first eight league games, one point better than Lorient.
