EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The New York Giants have placed safety Cooper Taylor and receiver Marcus Harris on injured reserve in reducing their roster to 75 players.
Taylor hurt his left foot in Indianapolis on Aug. 16. Harris sustained a hip injury against the Jets on Friday night.
The team also announced Tuesday that 13 other players were waived, two with injuries — linebacker Justin Anderson (hamstring) and defensive end Emmanuel Dieke (knee).
The most notable move was the release of first-year kicker Brandon McManus, who pushed incumbent Josh Brown in camp.
Also waived were cornerbacks Charles James and Ross Weaver; safeties C.J. Barnett and Kyle Sebetic; linebacker Spencer Adkins; wide receiver Travis Harvey; tight ends Xavier Grimble and Jerome Cunningham; guard John Sullen and defensive tackle Everett Dawkins.
