San Francisco, CA – Lawrence Tynes kicked a 31-yard field 17 win over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.
The Giants moved on to face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI on February 5 in Indianapolis.
It was the second time in five seasons Tynes kicked a game-winning field goal in overtime to win the NFC title game for the Giants.
