New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara is still experiencing soreness after a suffering a pectoral injury that has held him out of the past two games, and he will undergo an MRI on Monday.

Amukamara told reporters that he is progressing in his recovery, and that the Monday MRI is a good thing -- he hopes the doctor will grant him clearance to practice and eventually play in the Giants' Week 9 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
