Georgia has gone above and beyond to support Devon Gales and his family.
The wide receiver out of Southern suffered a serious neck injury last week against the Bulldogs in Sanford Stadium. Since the injury, head coach Mark Richt and the Bulldogs' community has been extremely supportive of the injured athlete.
The latest bit of public support came Saturday during the contest versus Alabama. Georgia players were spotted wearing blue decals with Gales No. 33 on the backs of their helmets. Gales' parents were both guests of the team during the game.
Prior to this, Georgia paid for Gales' parents to be flown out to the hospital on the day in which the injury occurred. Richt and members of his staff also went and visited Gales in the hospital.
