Milan, Italy – AC Milan veterans Gennaro Gattuso and Filippo Inzaghi have announced that they will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Both players have contracts that will expire at the end of the current campaign and both will be allowed to leave after finding it difficult to find a place in the team's lineup this term.
The announcement comes only one day after another long-serving Milan player, Alessandro Nesta, confirmed that he will be leaving the Rossoneri following Sunday's match against Novara.
Gattuso, who joined Milan in 1999, has been limited to six appearances this season due in part to a serious eye problem, while the 38-year-old Inzaghi has tallied 125 goals in 296 appearances for Milan since joining from Juventus in 2001, but managed to feature in only eight games this campaign.
