The New England Patriots fourth practice of training camp has ended with a heavy rain.

Players left the field about two hours into the workout that was near its scheduled completion.

Coach Bill Belichick is giving them Monday off before resuming practice on Tuesday.

The weather was very different from the conditions in Arizona where four Patriots defensive backs worked out together for about two weeks to help prepare for camp.

Cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Logan Ryan and safeties Devin McCourty and Tavon Wilson were among many NFL players who went through drills, lifted weights, worked on individual skills and watched film at a Phoenix training facility. The Patriots players say it helped them build camaraderie.
