Talented bantamweights Francisco Rivera and Erik Perez are slated to go toe-to-toe in a high-action bout at UFC 201 in Atlanta.

The bout was confirmed by the UFC, via Twitter, on Tuesday afternoon.

Perez was once one of the division's brightest stars, winning his first three UFC fights by first-round finish while absorbing just 16 significant strikes during that span. He would go on to split his next four fights, suffering setbacks against the likes of Bryan Caraway and Takeya Mizugaki.

The Mexican-born fighter is coming off a victory, however, and after recovering from a shoulder injury, is ready to approach the division's top 15 with a win Saturday.

His opponent, Rivera, will be looking to right the ship after dropping back-to-back fights.

Rivera vs. Perez is the sixth fight added to UFC 201, which goes down July 30. Here how the card looks so far.

Demetrious Johnson vs. Wilson Reis
