Anders Forsbrand carded a 5-under 67 on Sunday to fend off Philip Golding and win the Scottish Senior Open.

Forsbrand finished at 17-under-par 199 for his first victory on the European Senior Tour.

He ran off three straight birdies from the third, then had back-to-back birdies at eight and nine to make the turn at minus-17. He birdied the 13th, but gave that shot back when he bogeyed the 16th. Forsbrand parred the last two to hang on for the win.

Golding fired an 8-under 64 to take second place at minus-16 on the Torrance Championship Course at Fairmont St. Andrews. David J. Russell took third at 14-under-par 202 after closing with a 67.

Ian Woosnam (67) shared fourth place at minus-9 with Chris Williams (68), Gordon Manson (70) and George Ryall (69).
