CARDIFF, Wales – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his position as Cardiff manager, ending the former Manchester United striker's first coaching job in British football after nine months.
Cardiff, which was relegated from the English Premier League under Solskjaer last season, says in a statement released Thursday that the Norwegian coach has "stepped down ... with immediate effect following recent discussions."
