One of the nation's most elite recruits, five-star defensive tackle Derrick Brown, recently released the list of five schools destined to receive an official visit from the Buford, Ga. native, and unsurprisingly, all five are SEC members.
Brown is currently rated as the top prospect from Georgia and has long expected to stay in the East at either Georgia or Tennessee, but with Alabama, Auburn and Mississippi State - now a recruiting power of their own - in the race, Brown's eventual destination is anyone's best guess.
With the SEC being a line-of-scrimmage league, Brown's commitment could tip the scales in any one of the five school's favor the next few seasons in SEC play, assuming he lives up to the massive hype surrounding his recruitment of course.
While Brown has named those five schools as destinations, the games in which be plans to attend have not been announced at this point. Expect each and every school to wait for the marquee game on their home slate to impress the All-American prospect.
