Fayne's OT goal lifts Devils over Maple Leafs

Toronto, ON – Mark Fayne scored 1:18 into overtime to give 3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In the extra session, Fayne one-timed a shot from the right point that took a bounce then went off the arm of Jonas Gustavson and into the net for the win.

Petr Sykora had a goal and an assist while Martin Brodeur stopped 29 shots for the Devils, who have won four straight and nine of 11.

Tim Connolly, Clarke MacArthur and Phil Kessel all scored for the Maple Leafs, who have dropped six of their last seven. Gustavsson allowed four goals on 32 shots.
