To celebrate social media's infatuation with nostalgia, remember fantasy stars of yesteryear and to introduce those unfamiliar with WhatIfSports' NFL DreamTeam feature, we'll be rewinding and reminiscing fantasy football days gone by each week.

Last week, Elvis Grbac led our first fantasy football Dream Team roster. Looking back at Week 4 of the 1995 season, our good friend Rodney Hampton ran over the Saints.

Fantasy Football Throwback Starters: 1995 Week 4
QB Chris Chandler (at Bengals - 352 pass yards with 4 touchdowns
RB Rodney Hampton (vs. Saints - 164 total yards with 4 touchdowns)
RB Erric Pegram (vs. Vikings - 49 rush yards with 2 touchdowns)
WR Chris Sanders (at Bengals - 2 receptions 104 yards with 2 touchdowns)
WR Brett Perriman (vs. 49ers - 9 receptions for 115 yards)
TE Keith Jennings - Six of his 25 receptions were for touchdowns in 1995
DST Denver Broncos - middle of the pack defense in 1995 (total yards)
K Al Del Greco (one of the great names in NFL history)

Chris Chandler aka "Crystal Chandelier" will turn 50 years old on October 12. The NFL journeyman played on seven different teams during his 17-year career. As a member of the 1995 Houston Oilers, Chandler passed for 2,460 yards with 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. In Week 4 against the Bengals, he accounted for nearly 25 percent of his touchdown total with four touchdown passes (23-26), 352 yards, and a perfect passer rating. Chandler didn't reach the 300-yard plateau the rest of the season.

Hampton rushed for 1,000-plus yards five consecutive seasons -- 1991-1995 -- and scored 24 rushing touchdowns 1992-1993. The big guy averaged 287 rush attempts during the five-year stretch. His only other season with double digit touchdowns came in 1995. Four of those ten scores came in Week 4 against the Saints.

With a lot of editors hamstrung by Philip Rivers, Ryan Mathews and other unique spellings, I found it fascinating that Erric Pegram and Errict Rhett were among the leading fantasy running backs Week 4 of the 1995 season. The sixth-round pick out of North Texas' best season came in '95 with more than 200 carries for the Steelers with 26 receptions for 206 yards.

Chris Sanders first few games in the NFL look eerily similar to Browns' receiver Travis Benjamin's this season:

Game 2 -- Two receptions for 52 yards
Game 3 -- Two receptions for 90 yards
Game 4 -- Two receptions for 104 yards (2 TDs)

While researching this piece, news broke that Baltimore Ravens' rookie receiver Breshad Perriman suffered a setback during his PCL injury rehab last weekend and is out indefinitely. His father, Brett Perriman, peaked late when it came to fantasy football. From 1995-96, Perriman then 30 and 31 years old, the receiver 2,509 yards with 14 touchdowns. Thanks Scott Mitchell!!!!!

Scott Chandler and the offense contributed and then some, but unfortunately the Rodney Hampton All-Stars defense -- the 1995 Denver Broncos - couldn't stop Jamaal Charles and the 2015 Kansas City Chiefs. JC racked up 132 yards on 19 carries with two scores including the game winner late in the fourth quarter. If you check out the WhatIfSports Dream Team box score above, you'll see Hampton All-Stars' WR3 O.J. McDuffie contributed to the offensive efforts.

So give it a whirl, create your Fantasy Football Dream Team mixing players from different eras and teams to construct the ultimate roster.

Back next week with another WhatIfSports fantasy football flashback.
