Julio Jones got his money.
The Atlanta Falcons announced on Saturday they have agreed to a five-year contract extension with the star wide receiver. The deal was first reported by FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer.
The deal is worth a reported $71.25 million with $47 million guaranteed, FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo has confirmed. The two sides had been working on getting the contract done before the start of the regular season.
Jones was third in the NFL in receiving yards in 2014 and has 26 career touchdown catches.
