Wimbledon organizers say former champion Lleyton Hewitt has received one of several wild cards for the tournament, which begins June 25.

The 109th-ranked David Goffin of Belgium got a wild card. He made his Grand Slam debut at the French Open, winning the first set against Roger Federer in a quarterfinal match.

German veteran Tommy Haas also received a wild card in the draw Tuesday, along with four British players.

On the women's side, Virginie Razzano of France and Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan each received a wild card after impressive performances at the French Open.

The 62nd-ranked Shvedova reached the quarterfinals and No. 90 Razzano defeated Serena Williams in the first round.
