Liverpool, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Everton defender Leighton Baines will be out of action for one month after suffering a broken toe in Saturday's 3-3 draw with Merseyside rivals Liverpool at Goodison Park.
The England intrernational was cuaght on a challenge from Liverpool's Jordan Henderson in the first half of Saturday's match but played until the 50th minute before being subbed off for forward Gerard Deulofeu.
Baines, who has scored two goals this season, will miss key Premiership fixtures against Manchester United and Arsenal as he recovers from the setback.
The Toffees currently sit in seventh place in the table on 21 points from 12 matches and will get back to league play when they host Stoke City on Nov. 30.
