Stephan El Shaarawy scored 10 minutes from time and AC Milan tied Palermo, 2-2, on Tuesday at the Stadio Renzo Barbera in Serie A.

Fabrizio Miccoli converted a penalty just before halftime and Franco Brienza added a goal two minutes after the break for Palermo, but Milan rallied behind goals from Riccardo Montolivo in the 69th and El Shaarawy in the 80th.

El Shaaraway's league-leading seventh goal prevented a sixth loss in just 10 matches this season, as Milan secured its second draw to go with three wins.

Palermo tied its fourth straight match during a five-game unbeaten streak.
