France unsurprisingly are favorites to claim the Euro 2016 crown against Portugal as the betting lines opened shortly after France's 2-0 win against Germany.

The hosts opened as 4-9 outright winners, while Portugal opened at 15-8 outright winners at SkyBet. To put it in simpler terms, a $10 bet on France to win would return $14.44. The same bet on the underdogs would return $28.75.

If living dangerously is more your style and you prefer to mix in the daunting third possibility of a draw (these results are based on regulation time, so a result in extra or penalty kicks wouldn't count), the opening lines are: Portugal 18-5, Draw 21-10, France 19-20. So, a $10 bet would return $46, $31 and $19.50, respectively.

The over/under for total goals scored sits at 2.5, with the odds on the under at 1-2 and 6-4 on the over. Keep in mind, though, that any potential goals scored in extra time would not count toward the 2.5 number.

It's no shock that France are such heavy favorites to lift the trophy. They've just knocked off the World Cup holders Germany, they're playing at home and they boast the tournament's top scorer in Antoine Griezmann, who has six goals.

Portugal aren't pushovers, though. They ousted Gareth Bale and tournament surprise package Wales in the semifinals, and showed the mental fortitude to survive a penalty shootout in the quarterfinal. They also have a guy named Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking of CR7, he's opened at 10-3 to take home the best player of the tournament award. Greizmann is the favorite at 1-2, while Dimitri Payet (13-2), Paul Pogba (14-1) and Renato Sanches (18-1) are also among those in the chase for the honor.

As with most major sporting events (hello, Super Bowl!), there is also a bevy of prop bets available for the more adventurous punter. Everything from exact scores to goal times, you can bet on it all to your heart's content. Do remember to bet responsibly, though!
