Ahead of this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo that opens Tuesday, EA Sports released multiple trailers for FIFA 17 that introduce a raft of new updates and will surely stoke the flames for the soccer video game's rabid fanbase.

One of the most highly touted new features in EA's latest edition of the best-selling franchise is "The Journey," an interactive story mode that follows fictional star Alex Hunter through his burgeoning career in the English Premier League as he battles to become the best player in the world.

With original content from real-life managers such as Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and more, "The Journey" is an intriguing play for EA as they attempt to coerce fans to shell out for each year's updated version of FIFA in the face of strong competition from Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer.

Story mode isn't the only big addition for FIFA 17 however, and EA has completely rebuilt the in-game engine, claiming to have revamped the way players think, move, physically interact with opponents and execute attacking moves.

FIFA 17 is available around the world on Sept. 29, and expectations are at an all-time high for the long running franchise, especially after the release of these mouth-watering previews. Game on.
