Duke's Jones to miss remainder of season

Durham, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Duke announced on Monday that guard Alexis Jones will miss the rest of the season after a MRI revealed a torn ACL in her left knee.

Jones suffered the injury during Sunday's 81-70 loss to Notre Dame. The All- America candidate was averaging 13.1 points, 5.3 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals this season for the seventh-ranked Blue Devils.

She was averaging 14.4 points and 7.2 assists in her last 11 games after senior guard Chelsea Gray was injured on Jan. 12.
