DURHAM, N.C. (AP) Duke has dismissed cornerback T.J. Douglas from the football team for a violation of undisclosed team policy.
Coach David Cutcliffe announced Douglas' dismissal Sunday.
Douglas had not played this season. He was suspended indefinitely from game competition in the spring for failing to live up to the program's standards.
He played in 12 games last season and had one tackle.
