Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Anaheim Ducks revealed on Tuesday that forward Matt Beleskey and defenseman Sami Vatanen will be out for some time due to injuries suffered in Sunday's loss to the Washington Capitals.

Beleskey is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks with an upper-body injury, while Vatanen should be sidelined approximately 4-to-6 weeks due to a lower-body issue. The club did not specify the nature of either malady.

Largely due to his good health, Beleskey has collected a career-high 21 goals this season, which currently ranks second on the club to Corey Perry.

Anaheim leads the Pacific Division with a 35-15-7 record, 10 points ahead of both Vancouver and Calgary, but ranks third in the Western Conference behind the Predators (82 points) and Blues (78).
