When the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts square off on Sunday, it will be the first time that Drew Brees and Andrew Luck have squared off. Fortunately, it has the makings of being a great game across the board.

When recently asked about his counterpart, Brees gave a rave review of Luck, according to Mike Triplett of ESPN.

"I think he's a stud," Brees told ESPN of the fourth-year pro.

"He's got obviously all of the physical tools and mental tools, intangibles that you need to play this position and play at a high level and play for a long time," Brees continued. "He can make every throw. He's a great athlete for his size and strength. He's very poised no matter what the situation. And he's won a lot of big games in the last few years. He's got a really bright future ahead of him."

Well, it doesn't get much nicer than the praise that Brees just sent in Luck's direction. With that said, both teams should be expected to air it out quite a bit on Sunday, so both Brees and Luck should be in for big days in a potentially high-scoring game.
