Bas Dost scored all five of 0 win at Excelsior on Saturday.

The 22-year-old scored a first-half hat trick with goals in the 13th, 18th and 43rd minutes before netting two more after the break.

Oussama Assaidi's cross was nodded home by Dost to open the scoring before Luciano Narsingh played provider five minutes later to make it 2-0.

Narsingh's corner kick was finished off by Dost two minutes before halftime and the duo hooked up again from a corner kick early in the second half for the same result.

Dost then capped his memorable match with a fourth assist from Narsingh, who set up the striker for a finish from 10 yards.

AZ Alkmaar maintained its lead atop the Eredivisie on Saturday with a comfortable 4-0 win at home over De Graafschap with first-half goals from Adam Maher and Simon Poulsen before an own goal from Vito Wormgoor made it 3-0.

Charlison Benshop capped the scoring 12 minutes from time for AZ, which stays four points clear of second-place PSV Eindhoven.

PSV slipped past NAC 1-0 on a goal from Dries Mertens in the 37th minute, while Twente got second-half goals from Luuk de Jong and Nacer Chadli to down NEC 2-0.
