Diamondbacks recall Demel

Phoenix, AZ – The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled pitcher Sam Demel from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.

Demel was 1-4 with a 4.60 ERA in 51 relief appearances with the Aces this season.

The 26-year-old Demel went 2-2 with a 4.21 ERA in 34 games with Arizona in 2011.
