Modena, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Struggling Serie A club Sassuolo announced Tuesday that it has fired manager Eusebio Di Francesco.
Di Francesco becomes the tenth Serie A manager to be sacked this season. Youth team coach Paolo Mandelli has taken charge of the team on an interim basis, according to a statement released by the club.
Sassuolo has lost six of its last seven league matches, leaving the club in 18th place in the Italian top flight.
