Arnhem, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Memphis Depay's goal just prior to the half-hour mark held up as the winner on Saturday as PSV Eindhoven earned a 2-1 win over Vitesse Arnhem at the GelreDome.

PSV got off to a flying start as Jurgen Locadia struck for the visitors after just seven minutes, but Vitesse had an answer in the 18th minute through Zakaria Labyad.

But PSV had the opportunity to go back in front in the 28th minute as Depay lined up to take a penalty. He failed to convert the strike, but pounced on the rebound and slotted it home for the winning goal.

The result sees PSV rise to third place in the Eredivisie on 50 points, while Vitesse remains in second place with 52 points, six behind leaders Ajax Amsterdam.

Also in the Eredivisie on Saturday, Dion Malone scored in the 89th minute to lift Den Haag to a 2-1 win over Gorningen, while Brian Linssen scored in each half to lead Hreacles to a 2-1 victory over Roda.
